Professional Rates Charged

Professional rates charged for services are a reflection of the service provider’s experience and level of expertise. On one hand, I consider my rates somewhat on the low side. On the other hand, I, like any professional who knows their worth, do not plan to seriously undersell my services. It is important to realize that these rates are nominal and therefore negotiable, up to a limit. Likewise, what I charge may also vary a bit, depending on level of difficulty or complexity. But this can be discussed as part of any negotiating process.

Billing Clients

The way I bill my clients is as follows: 1) I send an email from David Magallanes Writing Services; 2) the client receives the email; 3) client opens the email with my logo, business name, an indication of the amount due, and a “View Invoice” button; 4) client selects the “View Invoice” button; 4) in the browser window with URL my.freshbooks.com opens, showing once again the logo, business name and amount due, to whom the bill is made, as well as the Invoice Number, Date of Issue, Due Date, and a “Pay Now” button; 5) client submits payment with a credit or debit card.
